The TRM&HS is a group of HO scale modelers with a focus on Texas trains. Utilizing prototype modeling and a modular railroad standard we attempt to preserve the passenger and fast freight trains that used to call Texas and surrounding states home.
Our modeling is prototype based with an emphasis on quality and accuracy over quantity. Diligent research and photographs are a must.
Our module standard is one whose ancestry can be traced to the Free-mo line. Our standard is compatible with Free-mo modules allowing for a great utilization of our members time and capital. While Free-mo is DCC based our standard utilizes fixed voltage DC and makes use of newer technologies such as RailPro and BlueRail.
